Interview with Mastering P.o.P.

Thank you for joining us for this e-commerce business success story! We’d like to start by getting an understanding of your backstory. How did you come to own your business?

Mastering P.o.P (Profitability over Popularity) was created to help online business owners, and digital entrepreneurs on a budget scale their business with optimization and automation. We remove decision fatigue from online business owners by assigning monthly digital marketing to-do’s that will help move the needle in their business. From SEO, email marketing, partnership, conversion optimization, and more, we set you up for success.

Excellent. Now, I’m sure it hasn’t always been that easy. Can you tell a story about one challenge, setback, or mistake that you’ve had to overcome on the road to success? How can others learn from your mistakes?

The biggest mistake I made was not having a launch strategy in place. I announced my membership during a Clubhouse room that I was hosting. Clubhouse is an app where people can interact via exchanging audios. Users can listen to conversations, interviews, and discussions. It’s almost like a live podcast. I was ending one of my rooms, and I just happened to mention that my SEO & Digital Marketing course was available for purchase. Present day, I know how important it is to develop a launch strategy if you want your product or service to be successful. Without a launch strategy, you run the risk of being lost in the shuffle and failing to gain traction.

If you’re launching a new product or service, take the time to develop a launch strategy. It could be the difference between success and failure. There are a few key elements that should be included in your launch strategy.

  • First, you need to identify your target audience and figure out where they “hang out” online. This will help you determine the best channels to use for your launch.
  • Second, you need to develop messaging that resonates with your target audience. This means creating messaging that addresses their pain points and offers a solution that is relevant to them.
  • Lastly, you need to create a sense of urgency around your launch. This can be done by offering early access, limited-time discounts, or other perks that will encourage people to take action.

By including these elements in your launch strategy, you’ll be setting your product or service up for success. Without a launch strategy, your product or service can easily be lost in the sea of content that is available online.

Thanks for that. Now – we want to know what’s next! What new initiatives are you rolling out at your business and what results are you hoping to see?

Well, I’m currently working on getting my SEO & Digital Marketing course into high schools.

I’ve been setting up speaking engagements in schools, academic camps, and other organizations. My goal is to introduce Project Based Learning to educators, administrators, parents, etc. I believe Project-based learning can and will reduce future youth unemployment in the United States. The key focus of Project-Based Learning is that students will learn by doing.

With my program, students will learn how to set-up, and market their own online business. Students will learn how to create a business plan, source products, suppliers, set-up a website, and market their business online. The following are some of the benefits of Project-Based Learning:

  1. Projects Require Research (ask questions and seek answers)
  2. Gain Technical and Non-Technical Skills (digital marketing components, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, etc)
  3. Get Quality Feedback (receive and implement real-time feedback)
  4. Prepare Students for the Workplace and Workplace scenarios (steps to build and market an online business)
  5. Proof of Understanding (build a portfolio, showcase project to potential employers, etc)

Sounds exciting! Any final words of advice for our readers?

Starting anything can be daunting. You might feel like you’re in over your head, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed. That’s why it’s important to focus on something that excites you. If you love what you’re doing, you’ll be more likely to stick with it when things get tough. And trust me, things will get tough! When you’re first starting, you’re going to have to be all in, every day, every hour, every minute – including weekends. Why? Because it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get anything going, right? But trust me, once you start seeing your dreams becoming reality, and seeing the lives that you’re changing, it’s worth the sacrifice. Late nights, early mornings, and missed social events will all be worth it when you start meeting your goals. So don’t give up – keep going, even when things seem impossible. Remember why you started, and let that passion drive you forward.

Brilliant! We want to thank you for participating in today’s interview. Hopefully our readers agree that there is a lot to be learned from your brand’s story.
