However, there are some simple steps to move forward. It all comes down to what your priorities are at the end of the day and just how much you’d like your income to be automated.

Just in a bind? Need to have some cash for quick? So here we are talking about small amounts of extra money, not millions.  You may need enough just to meet your monthly expenses or get the nagging lender to stop calling you.

The proverbial bank may not be broken by any of these 9 techniques listed here to get some money quickly. Some are simpler than others, but almost all of them can be started. They are supposed to get you through tough times.

I want to stress with you that this is not the easiest side hustle on the list. It takes time to make money blogging, but it can be worth it.

Some clients pay you per article, while others pay by the word.  In the beginning, you can shoot to make an additional $500 -$700 a month. Once you get the hang of it, you can shoot for an even higher goal.  As a freelance writer, the trick to succeeding is by finding the high paying clients that require less amount of work. Many freelance writers underbid, with little payout, resulting in fast burnout.

One of the best places to look for freelance opportunities as a beginner is Problogger. It’s a forum where several of my friends find their freelance opportunities. It’s simpler to land your first few customers on such platforms. I’ve had success with Upwork and Fiverr back in my freelance days.
